As of the evening of September 21, the bodies of 320 civilians and 18 military personnel were exhumed at the cemetery in Izyum, which was formed during the occupation of the city by the Russian army.

The prosecutor recalled that 445 graves were discovered at the cemetery, in some of them 2 to 4 people were buried at the same time.
Exhumation work in this place is planned to be completed by the end of the day on September 23. Further, the groups will work on other objects – currently we know about 3-5 more burials.
According to Maselskyi, there may be thousands of people killed during the occupation in the Izyum district.
He clarified that every day people are found buried near the entrances of houses and on landings.
