5 ships with 122.3 thousand tons of Ukrainian agricultural products left Odesa ports

It informs Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.

Thanks to the grain initiative, 5 ships with 122.3 thousand tons of Ukrainian agricultural products left the ports of Great Odesa for countries in Africa, Asia and Europe.

“Among them is the bulker NEW LIBERTY, which will deliver 25,000 tons of wheat to Kenya. The bulker CHOLA TREASURE will deliver 61,800 tons of rapeseed to Pakistan,” the message reads.

In total, since the beginning of the grain initiative, 350 ships with 7.8 million tons of grain products have left the ports of Odesa.

  • On October 4, it became known that in two months (from August 1 to September 30), 5.5 million tons of agricultural products were shipped on 241 ships through the ports of Greater Odessa.
  • On Saturday, October 8, 7 bulkers with grain on board left Ukrainian ports in the morning.
  • On Sunday, October 16, at the Joint Coordination Center in Istanbul, the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov met with the Minister of Defense of Turkey Hulusi Akar – the “Grain Corridor” in the Black Sea will operate until November 22.
  • The UN, Ukraine and Turkey supported the continuation of the “grain agreement”.
