In the Poltava region, one person died and three others were injured in a road accident. Among the injured is a child.

It is noted that the accident occurred on the Krasnograd-Poltava highway near the village of Oleksiivka of the Kolomatsky Territorial Community.
According to the preliminary version of the investigation, a Volkswagen Golf driven by a 27-year-old resident of the Poltava region collided with a Ε koda Octavia driven by a 38-year-old resident of the Kharkiv region.
“As a result of the accident, the Volkswagen driver died on the spot. The Ε koda driver and two passengers – an 18-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl – were injured. The doctors took them to the hospital”– stated the law enforcement officers.
Based on this fact, criminal proceedings were initiated under Part 2 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules by a person driving a vehicle that caused the death of the victim) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
As reported, the investigation is establishing the causes and circumstances of the accident.
