Investigators of the Kharkiv Region have opened criminal proceedings on the shelling of the de-occupied city of Vovchansk: enemy fire hit a multi-story building. A 64-year-old retired military officer of the Russian Federation, who had been living in the city for the past few years, died, reported the Kharkiv Oblast State Security Service.
Employees of police department No. 1 of the Chuguyiv RUP immediately arrived at the scene, documented the fact of armed aggression of the Russian Federation and collected physical evidence.
Criminal proceedings have been opened under Part 2 of Art. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
