On the evening of Sunday, November 19, a grenade exploded in an apartment in the Dnipro district of the capital. As a result, a soldier and a woman died. There is also a wounded person.
This was reported by the Kyiv police.
So, on the evening of November 19, a citizen contacted the police with a report that an explosion had sounded in a neighboring apartment. Law enforcement officers and doctors arrived at the scene.
The police established that a serviceman and a woman who was in the house died as a result of the detonation of the grenade.
“Another man, the brother of the deceased, was injured, the doctors hospitalized him”, – specified in the message.
Explosive technicians, an investigative team and forensics are working on the spot. A legal qualification will be issued after the verification of the event is completed, the police added.
We will remind, on the evening of November 6, it became known that a 39-year-old military man was killed by a grenade explosion at his home in Kyiv region. His 13-year-old son was hospitalized with serious injuries. The deceased – Gennady Chastyakov – worked as an assistant to Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny.
It was also reported that on May 7, a grenade exploded in an apartment on Liskovska Street in Kyiv, and the police detained a man who was illegally storing ammunition.
In addition, in Mykolaiv on April 28, a local resident left a grenade after he was refused two hryvnias. As a result, two people were injured.
