In the Russian city of Irkutsk, a military plane crashed into a private two-story building, causing a fire. About this are reported Russian mass media with reference to the local governor Igor Kobzev, writes Public.
Governor reported, that, according to preliminary data, an aircraft of the SU category crashed in the city. Local Telegram channels report that it could be a Su-30 fighter. There is currently no information about the victims.

We will remind, on the evening of October 17 in the city of Yeisk, Krasnodar region of Russia the Su-34 military plane crashed just in the courtyard of a high-rise building. The fire spread to the nine-story residential building, damaging the apartments. In total, as a result of this plane crash, 15 people died and another 25 were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity.
Su-34 pilots ejected. They reported that the cause of the crash was the ignition of one of the engines during takeoff.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stated that the Su-34 aircraft crashed while gaining altitude for a training flight from the military airfield of the Southern Military District. In Russian Telegram channels, it was noted that the plane had a full complement of ammunition on board – after the crash, explosions were heard at the scene of the incident.
Russian mass media countedthat the plane crash in Yeisk was at least the tenth non-combat loss in Russian military aviation during the active war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
