Today is exactly 40 days since the terrorist act in the colony where Ukrainian prisoners of war were kept.

During this time, Russia did not allow representatives of international organizations to the crime scene.

“During this time, Russia did not allow the UN mission to the site of the murder, did not allow representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to the prisoners and did not provide data on the number of those killed. Does anyone else have doubts about who was behind this bloody terrorist attack? ?” – Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the President’s Office, said on this occasion.

Ombudsman Dmitry Lubinets declaredthat Ukraine will continue to seek to gain access to the site of the tragedy.

“All these 40 days we have been working to gain access to the site of the tragedy, to prisoners of war and civilian hostages, to the wounded. Relevant requests were sent, and we have not received any official response from the Russian Federation to them,” he said.

  • On July 29, Russian invaders fired on a colony with Ukrainian prisoners of war in Yelenovka in the temporarily occupied territory of Donbass.
