Over the past day, police officers of the Kharkiv region received 994 calls.
In order to prevent the entry of illegal weapons and narcotic substances into populated areas, law enforcement officers, together with military personnel, checked 3,199 vehicles at checkpoints, the head of the GUNP in the Kharkiv region reported Volodymyr Tymoshko.
During the investigation of the territory of the city and the region, the police officers exposed two citizens in illegal drug trafficking. Narcotic substances were seized from violators.
Employees of the police department in the subway at the Kholodna Gora metro station found a 28-year-old resident of the Kharkiv region, who had been wanted for theft since 2021. The man was handed over to the police department No. 1 of the 2nd National Police Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.
Law enforcement officers drew up 5 administrative protocols against drivers for driving while intoxicated.
9 persons were taken to the territorial units for examination by the personnel of the National Security Service in the Kharkiv region on suspicion of being involved in subversive and intelligence groups and conducting propaganda activities.
Investigative units of the National Police of Ukraine are taking steps to register war crimes in liberated settlements. A total of 9,034 war crimes have been registered since the beginning of de-occupation measures, of which the largest number is 8,238 under Art. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) and 727 – under Art. 111-1 (collaborative activity) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
