A woman admitted that she broke up with her husband when she found out the nickname he gave her in text messages to friends, writes The Mirror.
According to her, she decided to leave her husband when she found a message in his phone with a cruel, in her opinion, nickname for her. She saw him call her SWMBO.
When the man had an opportunity to understand, he said that it means “the one who should be obeyed.”
“It’s not about ‘obeying’ me… it’s like ‘asking for permission’, as if he’s a teenager and I’m his mother,” the woman said.
According to her, she understood that sooner or later they would break up because she felt that he did not value her.
“It’s called respecting your family. After five years of marriage, I became that for him,” she wrote.
