Almost 50,000 unemployed people were involved in the “Recovery Army” state project.
This was reported in the Telegram channel of the State Employment Service.
So, as of September 4, 49,927 Ukrainians joined the program. 305 million hryvnias were allocated for the salaries of the unemployed.
The largest number of people were involved in the project in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Donetsk, Kyiv and Chernihiv regions.
It is noted that the participants of the program are engaged in helping victims of hostilities, providing social services, unloading and packing humanitarian aid, tailoring and repairing military ammunition, canning products, weaving camouflage nets and building protective structures.
We will remind you that in April, the government defined 5 priorities for the restoration of the country in 2023.
Earlier, the Ministry of Finance told how much money is needed to restore Ukraine this year.
