On the night of Thursday, September 7, an explosion occurred in the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don near the headquarters of the Southern Military District (Air Defense), after which a fire started.
This was reported by Russian Telegram channels, as well as the governor of the Rostov region, Vasyl Golubev.
According to Golubev, around 3:00 in Rostov-on-Don, the anti-aircraft system was activated. After that, two drones were allegedly shot down. Several cars were damaged. One person was injured, but refused hospitalization.
Eyewitnesses report that the event took place on Pushkinska Street, two blocks from the air defense headquarters. According to a number of Telegram channels, three explosions were heard in the city, after which the fire started.
Local channels also reported that several nearby buildings were damaged, their windows were broken. The car that exploded has already been extinguished, the scene is now surrounded by services.
