It is known that the explosion was heard this morning in Nicosia. According to the publication, the police detained four men aged 17 to 21. All four arrived in Cyprus from Syria.
«Cyprus police searched the suspect’s car, found two knives and a hammer inside the car. Therefore, the 21-year-old owner of the car was detained for possession of a weapon“, the message says.
Journalists add that the explosive device with pyrotechnic material was not very powerful. He detonated 30 mayors from the entrance to the Israeli embassy. It is also noted that no one was injured as a result of the incident.
So far, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel has not commented on the explosion.
