Over the past week, Ukraine managed to return 11 children who were abducted by the Russian occupiers and illegally detained in the occupied territories.
This was announced by the head of the OP Andriy Yermak in Telegram on September 1.
“Russians kidnap children and force them to study in Russian, they kill, destroy entire cities… We are working to find the kidnapped children and bring them back home. In the last week alone, we have returned 11 of our children”he wrote.
Details were given in the press service of the Verkhovna Rada.
As reported, the children who were illegally held in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region have returned home.
“Among them are six children who are deprived of parental care. And five are families. But they were waiting for the return of each of them. The youngest child is 2 years old, the oldest is 16.said the message.
We will remind, according to Iryna Vereshchuk, the occupiers change the names and dates of birth of kidnapped Ukrainian children. It was also reported that residents of Luhansk region are threatened with deportation due to refusal of Russian passports.
