An attack by Russian attack drones on Lviv on Tuesday night destroyed 15 trucks with humanitarian aid, including from the Vatican, auxiliary bishop of Lviv Archdiocese of the Roman Catholic Church Eduard Kava said.
“As a result of a nighttime drone attack on the warehouse of the charity organization Caritas-Spes, about 15 trucks of humanitarian aid were destroyed,” Cava said in a video commentary posted on the archdiocese’s Facebook page.
According to him, the humanitarian aid included clothing, shoes, food, and generators, particularly from the Vatican.
“We receive help from the Vatican through the mediation of Cardinal Krayevsky, and this is part of the help sent not only recently, but also over that time, which has already been gradually distributed throughout Ukraine,” the bishop said.
