According to SOHR, an Iranian drone assembly plant was completely destroyed near an airport near Damascus in an airstrike.
The destroyed site reportedly contained drone assembly blocks and industrial equipment that had been shipped to Syria from Iran.
SOHR believes that the attack was carried out by Israeli aircraft. The IDF traditionally does not comment on such speculation.
- On July 2, the Israeli army launched a missile attack on a Hezbollah grouping facility in the vicinity of the Syrian city of Al-Hamidia.
- On July 16, the IDF attacked a Hamas terrorist organization in the central part of the Gaza Strip.
