Austrian Finance Minister Magnus Brunner announced that his country would allocate another ten million euros to support Ukraine.
As reported ARA, such a statement was made at the meeting of the Minister of Finance of Austria with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Odile Renaud-Basso. They talked within the framework of the world conference on climate issues, which is held in Egypt.
The Austrian minister called support for Ukraine an important issue and a contribution to stability in Europe.
“In this way, we demonstrate our solidarity with the population and make a lasting contribution to stability in Europe,” Brunner emphasized.

In September 2022, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Austria, Alexander Schallenberg, said that Russian President Vladimir Putin still has the goal of destroying Ukraine.
Chancellor of Austria Karl Nehammer also commented on the shelling of Kiev by occupying Russian forces on June 26. He called for an end to the bloodshed.
Earlier, the President of Austria, Alexander Van der Bellen, said that Europe will do everything in order to end the war launched by the Russian Federation against Ukraine as soon as possible.
