It is known that Russia used more than 500 drones against Ukraine just last month.
«For 6 months of the last heating season, more than 1,000 “martyrs” were used against Ukraine. And we already have half a thousand in just one month“, Ignat added.
He also emphasized that the Western air defense systems, with which Ukraine is gradually replacing the existing Soviet systems, will focus on the protection of the energy sector as a whole, as well as strategic state facilities and critical infrastructure facilities, as they did last winter.
Earlier, Ukrainian intelligence reported that the Russian Federation wants to collect 6,000 kamikaze drones by the summer of 2025, but the plans of the occupiers do not yet match the actual figures.
According to the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the invaders are improving “shahedy” and other weapons in order to protect themselves from EW.
