“While the United States and our partners support a number of international efforts to bring atrocities to justice, Ukraine’s attorney general’s office will play a critical role in bringing those responsible for war crimes to justice,” Blinken said.

He added that “ACA will liaise with the US Department of Justice to bring perpetrators to justice in US courts.”

In addition to streamlining efforts, the ACA will also provide increased funding to a team of international prosecutors and other war crimes experts already working in Ukraine, Blinken said.
