Bookmakers have correctly named two of the last three Eurovision winners: Netta Barzilai in 2018 and Duncan Laurens in 2019.
“We believe that any victory, in any aspect, would be very important for Ukraine today,” Kalush Orchestra frontman Oleg Psyuk said in an interview Eurovision World.
He believes that the likely victory of the Kalush Orchestra is connected not only with the war.
“Of course, there is a forecast and bookmakers, but even before the war we were given fifth place, which means that Europeans like our song,” Psyuk said.
The first semi-final, in which the Kalush Orchestra will take part, will take place on May 10, and the Eurovision final on May 14.
