Britain will hand over helicopters and 10,000 artillery shells to Ukraine

The British Ministry of Defense decided to transfer three Sea King helicopters and 10,000 artillery shells to Ukraine.

This was reported by relevant minister Ben Wallace, reports air force.

According to the journalists of the publication, the first of the three helicopters has already arrived in Ukraine.

Over the past six weeks, Ukrainian crews have been trained in Britain to fly and maintain search and rescue helicopters.

In addition, according to Wallace, Ukraine will receive an additional 10,000 artillery shells. The ammunition should help the Armed Forces defend the recently liberated territory.

Sea King helicopters were previously used by both the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy, the latter of which was decommissioned in 2018.

It will be recalled that Canada allocates 500 million dollars of military aid to Ukraine.

It should also be noted that New Zealand will send 66 servicemen to Britain to conduct military exercises.
