Russia is concerned about the vulnerability of Crimea, which is why it moved the launch site of Iranian drones to the Krasnodar Territory.

About this reports UK Ministry of Defense on Twitter.

The Russian occupiers routinely launched Iranian Shahed drones from Crimea. However, during the latest attacks, drones flew from the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation.

«In recent days, Russia’s campaign of long-range strikes against the critically important national infrastructure of Ukraine has intensified. The wave of strikes consisted mainly of air-launched and sea-launched cruise missiles, but almost certainly also involved Iranian-provided UAVs launched from the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation. Previously, these UAVs were mostly launched from the territory of the occupied Crimea“, the message says.

According to British intelligence, the invaders are afraid of the vulnerability of the occupied peninsula. The postponement of the launch of drones may also be related to the convenience of replenishing supplies from the likely point of arrival of weapons to Russia – Astrakhan.

We will remind you that on the morning of December 16, Russia fired 76 missiles at critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine. 60 of them were destroyed. During the attack, about 40 missiles were detected in Kyiv’s airspace. Air defense shot down almost all of them.

As noted by the Ministry of Defense, Russia is resorting to massive strikes on the territory of Ukraine, as it hopes to change the course of the war in its favor.
