Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine collected indisputable evidence of voluntary cooperation with the enemy of a local collaborator from the Kupyan district.
This was reported by the spokesman of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region Vladislav Abdula.
In June of last year, the enemy’s accomplice agreed to take the position of “acting assistant to the head of the department of the Kindrashiv territorial department of the military-civilian administration of the Kupyan district of the Kharkiv region.”
In this position, the collaborator collected the data of local residents into information for the subsequent payment of material assistance from the occupiers.
According to the SBU, the illegally collected personal data of the residents of the occupied regions could be used by the invaders to impose Russian citizenship on them in the future, as well as to falsify the results of the pseudo-referendum on joining the aggressor country.
In addition, the woman was engaged in repairing the heating system at the school, where she planned to place the Russian military.
It is also documented that the perpetrator kept records of information related to the renaming of streets in one of the villages of the community.
As the spokesman of the prosecutor’s office of the Kharkiv region told Dmytro Chubenkounder the procedural leadership of the Kupyan district prosecutor’s office of the Kharkiv region, a 55-year-old woman was notified of suspicion of collaborative activity (Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The suspect faces a penalty of imprisonment for a term of five to ten years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of ten to fifteen years and with or without confiscation of property.
