Fedorov said that today in Melitopol the occupiers began to go from house to house so that people “vote”, but Melitopol residents do not open the doors en masse. However, in such cases, according to him, the invaders threaten to take away the apartments.

“If the so-called commission comes with packages or ballot boxes, they can simply grab a person on the street and force them to “vote.” They also give the opportunity to “vote” not only for themselves, but for all family members. They go with machine gunners and thereby force vote,” said the mayor of Melitopol.

At the same time, according to him, “even in these difficult times” Melitopol residents resist and massively vote against, “thereby showing Russia that it has no place here.” Those who voted against the occupiers are threatened with deportation, the mayor said.

In addition, according to Fyodorov, cases were recorded in Melitopol when the members of the so-called election commission “round the corner filled out ballots and threw them into the ballot boxes” instead of the city residents. In this way, they are trying to get bonuses from the occupation regime.

He also added that the morning in Melitopol began with the destruction of two collaborators who helped the enemy organize the rail transportation of ammunition and weapons.
