The defense forces of Ukraine destroyed 350 Russian invaders in the past day. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the losses of the aggressor have already amounted to approximately 282,630 people. This is stated in the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, published in Facebook.
As for the combat and other military equipment of the enemy, as of October 9, Russian losses approximately amounted to:
- tanks ‒ 4,823 (+2 in the last day),
- armored combat vehicles ‒ 9126 (+3),
- artillery systems – 6706 (+1),
- rocket salvo systems – 808,
- air defense equipment ‒ 543 (+1),
- planes – 315,
- helicopters – 316,
- UAVs of the operational-tactical level – 5190,
- cruise missiles ‒ 1530,
- ships/boats – 20,
- submarines – 1,
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 9113 (+2),
- of special equipment ‒ 959.
The situation at the front
As UNIAN reported, Ukrainian defenders continue to move forward in the Melitopol direction and have partial success in the areas west of the village of Verbove, Zaporizhzhia region. Also, the Defense Forces of Ukraine are conducting assault operations in the Bakhmut direction.
In total, during the past day, there were 37 combat clashes between our defenders and the Russian occupiers. The enemy attacked most actively in the Marin and Avdiiv directions. In addition, the Defense Forces had to repel enemy attacks in the Zaporizhzhia, Bakhmut and Kupyan directions.
