It is perfect for formal events or a regular family evening. Its uniqueness lies in the ease of preparation and a wide range of possible variations of preparation and decoration.

“Anthill” is a classic recipe


For the dough:

  • wheat flour – 500 g + 100 g (for rolling)
  • salt – 2 g (1/3 tsp)
  • baking powder – 8 g
  • butter – 300 g
  • chicken eggs – 50 g
  • vanilla sugar and orange peel (optional)

For the cream:

  • boiled condensed milk – 1 can (450 g)
  • butter – 150 g
  • chocolate, poppy seeds or nuts (for decoration)

Step-by-step cooking recipe:

  • Let’s prepare the dough. Mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla sugar and the peel of one orange. Mix everything well.
  • Grind the cold butter with the flour mixture using a grater. You should get a crumb. Add the egg and knead the dough.
  • Divide the finished dough into 4 equal pieces, transfer each separately to a plastic bag or cling film. Transfer everything to the freezer for one hour.
  • Take out one piece of dough from the freezer and rub it on a grater.
  • So that the grated dough does not stick together, sprinkle it with 100 g of flour, as if rolling it. Then, to get rid of excess flour, remove the excess using a sieve.
  • Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour the dough in a thin layer and level it. You will be able to cover the entire baking sheet with two grated pieces.
  • We put the dough in an oven heated to 180 degrees for 18-20 minutes, mode with convection. After cooking, it is better to remove the dough on the parchment from the baking sheet.
  • Prepare the cream. Melt the butter in a water bath or in the microwave. Add boiled condensed milk and mix well until smooth. The cream is ready.
  • Add cream to the dough crumbs and mix with a pastry spatula so that the ingredients are well combined.
  • Wrap a deep bowl with cling film. We transfer our preparation for the cake, level it and carefully tamp it. Put the cake in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  • Before serving, remove the “Anthill” from the mold, decorate with melted chocolate and nuts.
  • Done!

    “Anthill” cake – a simplified recipe


    • “Khrustik” cookies – 500 g
    • boiled condensed milk – 1 can
    • butter – 180-200 g
    • sour cream – 2 tbsp. l.
    • nuts (walnuts, almonds, peanuts, etc.) – 80 g
    • chocolate (for decoration)

    Step-by-step cooking recipe:

  • Transfer softened butter and boiled condensed milk into a container, beat with a mixer until smooth.
  • Add sour cream, it should be at room temperature so that the cream does not separate. We continue to beat for a few more minutes.
  • Grind the toasted nuts with a rolling pin, add them to the cream.
  • Break the cookies with your hands into arbitrary pieces in a separate container. Add cream and mix.
  • Wrap a deep bowl with cling film. Spread the mass of cookies and cream, tamp well. Cover with a film and put in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
  • Before serving, transfer the cake to a plate, decorate with melted chocolate.
