“Due to enemy shelling, networks were damaged in three districts of the Kharkiv region. In particular, a 110 kV overhead line was damaged, which led to the blackout of 9,000 consumers,” the message reads.

The department clarified that repair work has already begun.

Also, a gas pipeline was damaged in the Kupyan district of Kharkiv Oblast as a result of shelling from Russian territory.

“A part of consumers in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Sumy and Chernihiv regions remains without power,” the Ministry of Energy said.

It was also reported there that the 110 kV interstate overhead power line with Moldova was turned off. The line was returned to work in automatic mode.

“Also, the 330 kV overhead line in the Kirovohrad region was turned off for a short time. There was no loss of power to consumers, the line was restored automatically,” Galushchenko noted.
