President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi announced this in an evening video address.
«We continue to eliminate the consequences of today’s terrorist attacks on our infrastructure. The geography of this next massive strike is very wide: Volyn, Odesa, Khmelnytskyi Oblast, Kirovohrad Oblast, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Rivne Oblast, Mykolaiv Oblast, Zaporizhia Oblast and others. The main target of terrorists is energy“, he said.
Zelenskyy once again urged to pay more attention to the need to consciously consume electricity.

So far, it has been possible to partially restore electricity in Odesa and Khmelnytskyi regions. Most households in the Rivne region are already supplied with electricity. According to the president, there are positive reports from other regions as well.

It will be recalled that this morning a large-scale air alert was announced over Ukraine. Russia massively attacked Ukrainian cities with missiles. Explosions were heard in Kyiv, Odesa, Khmelnytskyi, Rivne, Chernivtsi, Lviv regions and in Lutsk. In some regional centers, electricity and water have partially disappeared.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces managed to shoot down 18 enemy cruise missiles during the morning attack. However, it is also known about hitting. In particular, the energy facility in Lutsk, which was attacked, was completely destroyed, and it is currently impossible to restore it. In addition, in Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kirovohrad regions, Russian troops hit four critical infrastructure facilities. In the Rivne region, the energy system was damaged, in addition to this, private houses and administrative buildings were destroyed.
It is currently known that the occupiers have fired 36 rockets at Ukraine since the beginning of the day, October 22. As a result of the strikes, almost 1,451,603 consumers were left without electricity.
