Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has accused the West of “crusading imperialism” over its stance on Israel’s war with Hamas.

This statement he did at the congress of the National Student Union of Turkey immediately after his return from Germany.

In particular, Erdogan is outraged that the West allegedly ignores the “genocide of Palestinians” in Gaza.

“Look, the entire Western world, the imperialist structure of the crusaders – together. They are not different from each other. Unfortunately, we saw this during my visit to Berlin. I have seen it with the President of Germany and others. They say the October 7 attack by Hamas on Israel caused this situation. Of course, I told them that 13,000 children, women and the elderly have now been killed by Israel in Gaza. Why don’t you talk about it?”, Erdogan is indignant.

He also said there was “enough evidence” to prosecute the Israeli government at the International Criminal Court (ICC).

“There is enough evidence for the Israeli administration to be tried at the International Criminal Court. We will do everything in our power to ensure impartial punishment for these crimes.” Erdogan said.

Earlier, Israel recalled all diplomats from Turkey and other countries of the region for security reasons.

This was preceded by the fact that Erdogan compared the dead civilians in the Gaza Strip to those killed in Russia’s war against Ukraine. At the same time, he accused the West of bloodshed.

The Turkish president also said that he does not consider the Palestinian group Hamas a terrorist organization.
