The national team of Ukraine in the selection of Euro-2024
The Ukrainians started their qualifying campaign on March 26, 2023 in London against England. Under the leadership of acting head coach Ruslan Rotan, our team lost 0:2.
Ukraine was led to the June matches by Serhii Rebrov, who began his work at the head of the national team with victories over North Macedonia (3:2) and Malta (1:0). On September 9, Ukraine drew 1:1 with England, and on September 12, it lost to Milan, Italy – 1:2.
On October 14, our team beat North Macedonia – 2:0 in Prague. On October 17, Ukrainian football players defeated Malta – 3:1.
The national team of Ukraine will continue the fight for three tickets to Euro-2024 in the playoffs, where the 12 teams with the best rating in the League of Nations-2022/23 will play. The national teams that did not reach the final part of the European Championship based on the results of the group round of selection will perform there. The draw will take place on November 23. Matches will be held in March 2024.
