Participants of the Atesh partisan movement posted leaflets in Russian Samara with an appeal to join their ranks.
The corresponding photos appeared in Telegram channels “Cities of civil resistance “ATESH” in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and the Russian Federation”. Flyers appeared on entrances, poles and transformer booths.
“Join the ranks of ATESH – we call on every conscious person who is ready to help us in the victory over the occupiers to join our ranks. The fight against the occupiers continues and we need people,” the message reads.
What is known about “ATESH”
“ATESH” is a military partisan movement in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, as well as in the territory of Russia. It was created by Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars after the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine.
In the fall of 2022, an appeal appeared in the movement’s Telegram channel, which said that its members were mobilizing into the Russian army in order to destroy it from within.
In June, they stated that one of the ATESH agents, a military serviceman of the Russian occupation forces, set fire to the R-161 communications complex in the Kherson region.
