“One of our main interests is strengthening trade and economic relations with China, attracting more investments from China and increasing the number of tourists to Georgia. We have decided to introduce a visa-free regime for Chinese citizens starting today,” Garibashvili said.
Today, September 11, the Prime Minister issued a corresponding order. He emphasized that visa-free travel will stimulate Chinese tourism and added that there are direct flights to Georgia.
- In addition, for citizens of Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia and other countries with a visa-free regime, the rules for entering the EU will change in 2024 – they will be required to issue an electronic permit.
