About this informs Ministry of Health.

“The Ministry of Health of Ukraine received 20 ambulances from the WHO to provide emergency medical care during the war. Designed as mobile intensive care units, these vehicles will be used to provide the necessary assistance to patients who require additional life support measures during transport to hospitals and between hospitals,” the message reads.

The ambulances were transferred to Ukraine with the financial support of the German government.

As the director of the country support and partnership department and acting regional director for emergencies of the WHO European Regional Office Gundo Weiler noted, these ambulances will help transport patients between hospitals throughout Ukraine, including the eastern and southern regions. They are equipped with the necessary means of life support, including defibrillators-monitors, ventilators, medical oxygen supply equipment, infusion pumps, ECG machines, stretchers, trauma equipment, etc.

  • On September 27, it became known that doctors in five Ukrainian regions will receive 15 ambulances, purchased with the funds collected within the framework of the United24 initiative.
