Germany will allocate €130 million to the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine

“International partners and Germany stand side by side with Ukraine in these dark hours. The Federal Ministry of Economy and Climate Protection responds to the call by providing an additional 100 million euros for the Energy Support Fund,” the embassy said in a statement.

It is noted that the fund will receive 130 million euros from Germany for the urgent needs of energy companies of Ukraine by the end of 2022.

  • On December 9, the Ministry of Energy reported that France handed Ukraine 100 medium-power generators for the heating season. The aid sent on December 7 includes generators from 5 kW to 10 kW, as well as from 12 kW to 40 kW.
  • Azerbaijan handed over generators and transformers to Ukraine on December 10. The total amount of humanitarian aid that Azerbaijan provided to Ukraine is about 17.5 million dollars. It includes 45 power transformers and 50 generators
  • On December 15, the USA handed over to Kyiv special equipment and generators for boiler houses and heat supply stations. The next day, the Ministry of Economy of Georgia allocated 1.5 million lari (approximately 562 thousand dollars) for generators of various types for Ukraine.
