According to the investigation, the native of Komsomolsky village of Sverdlovsk city council of Luhansk region joined the 4th battalion of the 202nd rifle regiment of the illegal armed formation of the LPR terrorist organization no later than 2021.
During the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, the militant moved to the Kupyan district and took part in hostilities on the side of the aggressor state, reports prosecutor’s office Kharkiv region.
In addition, it was established that the mercenary committed thefts and abused the civilian population.
In particular, it was established that at the beginning of May 2022, during the occupation of the village of Ivanivka, a mercenary, together with other military personnel of the aggressor state, entered the territory of one of the households and stole a rifle from there.
Also, while in the village of Petrivka, the militant entered the territory of a private house and, seeing a family of peaceful residents, began to threaten with a firearm and demand the handover of a mobile phone belonging to the owner of the house.
After taking possession of the phone, the militant, acting together with other military personnel of the aggressor state, took the man to the forest strip and hit the victim several times on the head with the butt of a machine gun and, threatening, continued to beat the man.
The militant will be tried in absentia in the Ordzhonikidze District Court of Kharkiv.
