He noted that the Russians are losing ground, and the Russian Federation itself is suffering from sanctions and international isolation.
The military leader said that the Kremlin is still convinced that it can “wait out” the determination of the Ukrainian people.
“Russia has been preparing for this confrontation for years, and now it is resorting to measures that are difficult for the economy and population of the country in order to restore its military capabilities,” the admiral concluded.
