The breakthrough of the Ukrainian military on one of the defensive lines of the occupiers in the Zaporizhzhia region is not yet a complete victory, but the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are ready for difficulties.
This was stated by the head of the joint coordination press center of the Southern Defense Forces, Nataliya Gumenyuk, on the air of the telethon on September 1.
She told how exactly the breakthrough of the enemy’s defense takes place. After the Armed Forces knock out the Russians from certain positions, the invaders move to a place where they can retreat and entrench themselves.
Therefore, the counter-battery fight of the Armed Forces is carried out in several stages: knocking out the Russians from the closest positions; strikes in the deep rear of the enemy by destroying his infrastructure.
“It cannot be said that passing the first stage is the biggest victory and it will be easier in the future. We are ready for the fact that further sections will also be difficult”Humenyuk noted.
It will be recalled that the ISW stated that the Armed Forces achieved further tactically important successes in the western part of the Zaporizhzhia region and are likely to advance through a complex series of enemy defensive positions.
The NSDC said that the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian army is proceeding according to the approved plan, but it is quite difficult.
