In Donetsk, temporarily occupied by the Russians, an ammonia leak occurred in the evening of August 10 as a result of the shelling of the territory of the Donetsk Brewery in the Kalininsky district of the city. A fire is raging on the territory of the plant, where the military base of the occupiers was allegedly located.

This was reported by a number of Ukrainian Telegram channels with reference to local sources.

Eyewitnesses complain that there is a very strong and very unpleasant smell in the air. Meanwhile, the terrorist pseudo-headquarters of the “territorial defense of the DPR” claims that the damage zone as a result of the ammonia leak is about two kilometers.

Residents of the district were advised not to leave the premises, to take measures for tighter sealing of apartments and private houses. It is also recommended to breathe through cotton-gauze bandages moistened with a 5% solution of citric or acetic acid.
