On Friday, September 1, Stavka heard a closed report by the head of the GUR and the situation with the supply of weapons. And as of today, the state will do everything to return Ukrainian schoolchildren and students to normal studies.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi said this in a video message.
The Ukrainian leader noted that more than 3,700,000 Ukrainian children started the new school year today. Most of them are in Ukraine. Most are in offline or mixed format.
“Of course, we will do everything to make it possible to return to schools and universities all over our land – it’s normal. Without online. The shelter creation program will be implemented. And we will return freedom to our entire land. The smile of every child today, every flower that children brought to school, every lesson that Ukrainian teachers conducted today, and every dream that arose today in Ukrainian children are all proofs that Ukraine will definitely endure.”– said Zelensky.
At the same time, at today’s meeting, the Stavka discussed exclusively the situation at the front. According to the president, the following topics were discussed in detail:
- Kharkiv region, Donbas;
- South: Zaporozhye, the left bank of the Kherson region;
- Evacuation of the wounded;
- Plans of the enemy.
“Just held a meeting of the Stavka. In fact, the entire Bet is about the situation at the front now. Chief, commanders. A separate closed report by the head of GUR Budanov. The situation in the east, in the south, on the left bank of the Kherson region. Supply of ammunition. Missiles for our air defense. Machinery. Ukrainian production of weapons. Many different nuances, many different details. The key is to give our soldiers even more necessary for offensive operations, for demining, for the evacuation of wounded fighters. Each of the participants of the Stavka clearly understands what he should do”– noted Zelensky.
At the same time, according to the head of state, a meeting was held with law enforcement officers.
“They continue to purge the state of those who are still trying to weaken Ukraine from the inside. The autumn should be fruitful in this matter – especially for Ukraine”– said the head of state.
