In Kharkiv Oblast, 10,000 consumers were cut off due to enemy shelling

“In the Kharkiv region, a 110 kV power transmission line was damaged due to enemy shelling, which led to the blackout of almost 10,000 consumers,” the report says.

It is noted that repairs will begin under the conditions of cessation of hostilities in the area.

In addition, in the Donetsk region, repair crews are waiting for the permission of the military to begin the restoration of two 330 kV overhead lines damaged as a result of yesterday’s shelling.

“Part of consumers in Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kherson, Chernihiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions also remain without power. Repair crews are working where the security situation allows,” the message added.

  • As of July 2023, Ukrainian nuclear power plants produced almost 4 billion kWh more electricity than was forecast at the beginning of the year, thanks to the shortening of scheduled maintenance companies.
