In Kharkiv Oblast, children who became orphans as a result of the war with the Russian Federation will receive aid

Date:

The corresponding decision was made on November 10 during a meeting of the Commission on providing one-time targeted cash assistance to residents of the Kharkiv region who found themselves in a difficult life situation.

Funds for financial aid are provided for in the regional budget, reported deputy head of Kharkiv OVA Vita Kovalska.

“Each child will receive 30,000 hryvnias. Such payments were provided last year as well. On the instructions of Oleg Sinegubov, the head of Kharkiv OVA, we continue to systematically support children whose parents were taken away by Russian aggression.

For help, we attract all possible resources – these are payments from the regional budget, and from international partners, etc. We are doing our best to ensure that these children have everything they need,” said Vita Kovalska.

In particular, it was decided to provide one-time targeted cash assistance for 31 children who became orphans as a result of the military aggression of the Russian Federation.

Among them are 8 children who lost their parents as a result of a Russian missile attack on the village of Groza in October.
