So, the number of people infected with the coronavirus in Kyiv last week was 2,278. At the same time, a month ago, the rate of morbidity per week was slightly more than 300 cases.
“If you compare the last two weeks, the incidence rate has doubled”the message says.
The KMDA also noted that an increase in the number of serious cases requiring inpatient treatment was recorded.
“Today, there are twice as many adult patients with COVID-19 in the capital’s hospitals as there were at the beginning of September, and four times more children”the administration explained.
Vaccination remains the best prevention of COVID-19 and its serious consequences, the KMDA reminded.
