It is noted that a 40-year-old man died in Moldova after his car ran off the road and crashed into a tree.

The Moldovan police reports that six road accidents were registered around noon: “We repeatedly call on drivers not to go out on the road with unequipped cars and to drive at low speed.”

Instead, the Minister of Energy of Romania, Sebastian Burduja, reported that more than 400 settlements were left without electricity due to bad weather.

At the same time, more than 1,000 settlements in Bulgaria, mainly in the north-east of Bulgaria, remained without electricity. Also, as a result of traffic accidents, two people died and 36 were injured.

  • We will remind, on Sunday, November 26, Odesa and the region were covered with snow, ice formed on the roads. Due to the deterioration of the weather, traffic was blocked on three highways in the region. The storm caused a number of accidents, resulting in the first casualties, and schools were switched to distance learning.
  • Also, due to bad weather, Moldova suspended the passage of vehicles into its territory at two checkpoints on the border with Ukraine.
  • Due to the snowfall in Kyiv, 254 units of “Kyivavtodor” special equipment and 38 manual cleaning crews took to the roads.
