On Saturday, December 24, three rescuers from Zhytomyr Oblast were killed in the Kherson region.

This is reported by the State Emergency Service on Facebook.

It is noted that they served in the emergency and rescue squad of the special purpose State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Zhytomyr region. Farewell to the dead will take place on December 27 in Zhytomyr.

Ensign Serhiy Kurinnyi, a sapper driver of the pyrotechnic group, as well as a junior sergeant of the Civil Protection Service and a driver of the motor vehicle department, Dmytro Krasnoshkokov, were blown up by an enemy mine and killed.

In addition, paramedic-rescue sergeant of the civil protection service Oleksiy Sych died of his injuries on the way to the hospital.

It will be recalled that two policemen who were blown up by enemy mines on December 7 in the Kherson region died in the hospital.

Also, in the Kherson region, in the village of Novy Berislav, on December 20, a local resident blew himself up on an anti-personnel mine “Pelyustok” left by the occupiers.
