In Rostov-on-Don, a “Wagner” convict was again sent to the colony in a murder case. Six years ago, he was convicted under the same article.
As reported “Medusa“, 34-year-old Serhii Rudenko found an ad for renting an apartment on the Internet and contacted the 52-year-old landlady. On April 26, 2023, while inspecting the apartment, Rudenko and the landlady had an argument over the rent.
Rudenko beat the woman and strangled her with a shoelace, took the phone and fled the scene of the crime. He was arrested the same day. The convict is a former mercenary of PMK “Wagner”, who committed the murder after “demobilization”.
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation noted that Rudenko had previously been convicted of murder. Journalists found in court databases a verdict against a resident of Rostov-on-Don with the same name. In 2018, he received 10 years for, according to the case file, “strangling a roommate with a cord and a belt, and then stealing her jewelry and phone.”
