In the South of Ukraine, a Russian missile was shot down for the first time using the “ePPO” application

About this reported one of the founders of the “Technari” design group, which created “ePPO”, Gennady Suldyin.

He noted that the Russian Kalibr cruise missile was flying at a very low altitude, due to which it could not be detected by locators. However, several citizens saw the rocket and notified the military using the “ePPO” application.

“Our anti-aircraft gunners received targeting in a few seconds, had enough time and without too much trouble, shot down Kalibr from the Igla MANPADS on the simulator. Thanks a lot, guys!” – wrote Suldin.

He also noted that the system worked exactly as the developers planned. According to him, the application was designed to track low-flying missiles.

“I sincerely congratulate us, the Technari design group, and all Ukrainian programmers who participated in the creation of the world’s first air defense network system,” Suldin thanked.

  • At the beginning of October, Ukraine launched the “ePPO” application for reporting cruise missiles or an enemy drone.
