Inflation slowed down in Ukraine: how prices changed in July

Inflation in Ukraine in annual terms slowed to 11.3% in July. Last month, this figure was 12.8%.

Such data was shared by press service State Statistics Service.

It was noted there that consumer prices decreased by 0.6% in July compared to June, and increased by 4.0% since the beginning of the year.

The prices of fuel and lubricants (7.3%), meat (1.4%), sugar (1.2%), hotel and restaurant services (1.1%) and alcohol and cigarettes (1%) rose the most during the month ).

At the same time, many goods and services have decreased in price. For example, food and non-alcoholic beverages fell in price by 1.9%, clothing and footwear – by 4.8%, and recreation and culture – by 0.5%.

We will remind you that at the end of July, the National Bank lowered the discount rate for the first time in a year.

Previously, the NBU predicted what would happen to utility tariffs until 2025.
