The Ministers of Defense of Ukraine and Israel on Monday, October 24, had a telephone conversation. Israeli Minister Benny Gantz said Alexey Reznikovthat his country will support Ukraine against the background of the Russian invasion, but due to “operational restrictions” cannot transfer weapons, writes The Times of Israel.

Gantz’s office said he had received new information about the war and expressed his condolences for the lost lives and the dire humanitarian situation in Ukraine.
The minister promised humanitarian support to Ukraine and assistance in the form of “protection systems”, but without weapons.
Reznikov and Gantz agreed to immediately begin negotiations on the supply of civilian warning systems and to keep in touch over the next weeks to discuss other issues.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has not yet reported on negotiations with Gantz.
