Ramzan Kadyrov, a stave of the Kremlin in Chechnya, is in serious condition, his possible death will be a problem for Moscow. Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, stated this on the air of the telethon.
“Regarding Kadyrov, unfortunately, we still do not have a full stop in this matter. But there was information about who really was. We will not confirm, but we state that the situation is difficult. This is what can be stated for sure today,” Yusov said.
He added that in relation to other scenarios of Kadyrov’s state of health, there is no thoroughly verified information that can be operated on.

Yusov noted that the Chechen dictator’s loss of legal capacity will have consequences not only for Chechnya itself, but also for the rest of the North Caucasus. Also, the representative of GUR believes that the loss of Kadyrov will affect the stability of the entire “architecture of Putin’s regime”.
“It is even possible, if not death, then the significant health problems that Ramzan Kadyrov has – it is already obvious today – will affect the situation. Financial flows, redistribution of political power in the middle of Putin’s regime. This means for Ukraine and all the good people and enslaved peoples of the so-called Russian Federation are good news, which must be used and developed to protect the rights of the same enslaved peoples,” Yusov said.
Commenting on the possible candidates for the new ruler of Chechnya, a representative of Ukrainian intelligence noted that Kadyrov himself considered several options in this regard.
“But the problem with any rigid and authoritarian government is that it is difficult to choose a successor in advance and difficult to prepare. Whatever the plans are, there will be a fierce struggle for both Kadyrov’s succession and Putin’s succession. Everyone will participate in this struggle, from the top down Moscow, and among Kadyrov’s entourage. That is, this is not some legitimate process. It will be a tough and definitely bloody struggle. After all, they built such a system for themselves,” Yusov emphasized.
He is convinced that those forces, which for years counted on the right of the Chechen people to independence and their own state, will receive new impulses and tools for struggle.
Kadyrov’s health problems
As UNIAN reported, in recent days information has been spreading in the media that the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, is in a serious condition in the hospital. Some mass media spread information about his death, but Ukrainian intelligence denied such reports.
It is indicative that Vladimir Putin’s personal spokesman – Dmytro Peskov – who usually vigorously refutes rumors about the health problems of certain Russian officials, suddenly refused to comment on Kadyrov’s condition. He stated that the state of the head of one of the most problematic regions of the Russian Federation is apparently not within the competence of the Kremlin.
