The two-time European absolute champion, Kharkiv weightlifter from Kamila Konotop, came to the podium of the world championship.
The international sports competition is currently taking place in Saudi Arabia, it is reported SPORT.UA.
The 22-year-old woman from Kharkiv won three medals in the Olympic weight category up to 59 kg: silver in the jerk (106 kg), 🥉bronze in the push (130 kg) and became the vice-champion of the world in the sum of the duels with a result of 236 kg, sharing the podium honors of two representatives of China, Luo Shifang (243 kg) and Pei Xinyi (232 kg).
It should be noted that before this, the collection of the Ukrainian weightlifter had only one world award – a “small” bronze in the snatch (2022).
