This afternoon, the police stopped a Volkswagen car for violating traffic rules. There was a driver and a passenger in the car.
The inspectors found clear signs of drug intoxication in the driver. In the presence of two witnesses, the man refused to undergo an appropriate examination by a narcologist. So the patrol officers drew up an administrative report on him under Part 1 of Article 130 (Refusal of the driver to undergo an examination for intoxication) Code of Criminal Procedure.
While compiling the materials, the men were noticeably nervous and in a hurry. This aroused the suspicion of the police, so they conducted a cursory check, as a result of which they found 6 rolls with a substance of synthetic origin in the cabin. Another 8 such rolls were found in the car passenger.
It turned out that these are drugs that men sell through so-called “bookmarks”. As the driver reported, he had already managed to distribute 20 such packages on the territory of the city. Another citizen said that he also distributed 16 “bookmarks”.
To establish the circumstances of the incident, the patrol called an investigative team.
